Use this FAQ when you are changing plans, reviewing usage, or helping a team understand billing visibility.

## FAQ

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Where do I manage billing?">
    Open **Settings > Billing**. Depending on your account, role, and plan, you may see your current plan, usage, renewal timing, upgrade or downgrade actions, cancel controls, or a billing portal link.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What changes when I upgrade?">
    Upgrading can increase your monthly API usage budget and unlock plan-specific features. Some changes may apply quickly, while others can take a short time to appear across usage and billing surfaces.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What changes when I downgrade or cancel?">
    Downgrades or cancellations can reduce future usage, change renewal timing, or remove plan-specific features. Some changes may be scheduled for the next billing period.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="When does usage reset?">
    Individual plans reset on the usage period shown in your account. Paid plans usually align with the billing period. Team members follow the timing shown for the team plan.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does unused API usage budget roll over?">
    No. Unused API usage budget does not roll over to the next period.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How does team billing work?">
    Team plans use seat-based billing with a three-person minimum, including the owner. Accepted members receive team plan access and API usage budget. Pending invitations do not receive access or usage, but may affect the billed seat count until accepted, declined, or canceled.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I keep an individual plan and a team plan?">
    Yes. Individual and team plans can coexist. Joining or creating a team does not automatically cancel your individual subscription, and your Personal workspace remains separate from the team workspace.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why does Babbily ask me to switch workspaces before changing a team plan?">
    Team plan changes are scoped to the team workspace the owner manages. Switch to a team workspace you own, then return to the team plan or billing controls. This prevents a change intended for one plan from affecting another workspace.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What does Plan inactive — read-only mean?">
    The team workspace is still visible, but new work is locked because its team plan is not active. The team owner should restore or complete the team subscription before members continue working there.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why can I not see billing controls?">
    Billing controls can depend on your role. Team members may have limited billing visibility and should ask the team owner to manage plan or subscription changes.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why did usage or billing not update immediately?">
    Usage and billing cards can take a short time to refresh after model work, media generation, team membership changes, or plan updates. Refresh settings and check again after a short wait.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What team features may be listed on plan cards?">
    Team plan cards may list shared workspace features, centralized billing and user management, team analytics or usage visibility, SSO integration, and priority support. Availability and setup can depend on your plan and account, so contact support if you need help confirming a specific requirement.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What should I send support for a billing issue?">
    Include your account email, plan, whether you are a team owner or member, what you expected, what happened instead, and the approximate date, time, and timezone. Do not send full payment card numbers or sensitive credentials.
