Every Babbily plan includes a monthly API usage budget. This budget covers supported AI work Babbily runs for you, such as chat replies, model work, media generation, translation, and some tool work.
Plan budgets
What counts toward usage
Usage can include:
- Chat replies.
- Supported tool calls such as web search or deep research.
- Image generation.
- Video generation.
- Translation.
- File and media work that requires a model call.
Some features, including generated News articles, Finance data, and certain research tools, may use separate limits or availability rules. Check the usage card and in-product messages for the current state.
Where to see usage
The usage card shows your current usage and remaining budget. You can also open Settings > Billing to review your plan and billing details.
Babbily may refresh the usage card after model or media work finishes. If the number looks slightly delayed, wait a moment and refresh.
When usage resets
- Individual plans reset on the usage period shown in your account.
- Paid plans usually align with the billing period.
- Accepted team members share the timing shown for the team plan.
Unused budget does not roll over.
Low-budget and exhausted states
Babbily warns you when usage is getting high. If your budget is exhausted, new AI work may be blocked until your plan resets or you upgrade.
Existing chats and saved content remain readable.
Image and video generation usually use more budget than short text replies. If you are near your limit, use model-only chat for lightweight tasks.
