Plan options

Keep individual and team plans

Individual and team plans can coexist on the same account. Joining or creating a team does not automatically cancel an individual subscription.
  • Your individual plan remains associated with your Personal workspace.
  • A team plan is associated with the team workspace.
  • The account menu shows the plan context beside each available workspace.
  • Billing changes for one plan family do not automatically replace the other.
A chat remains tied to the workspace where it was created. Switching workspaces does not move the chat or its earlier usage.

Open billing settings

Go to Settings > Billing to review your current plan, usage, renewal timing, and billing controls. Depending on your account and plan, you may be able to:
  • Upgrade.
  • Downgrade.
  • Cancel.
  • Open the billing portal.
  • Manage team subscription details.

Team billing

Team plans use seat-based billing with a three-person minimum, including the owner. Accepted members receive team plan access and API usage budget. Pending invitations do not receive access or usage, but may affect the billed seat count until accepted, declined, or canceled. Team owners manage the subscription. Team members can use their team entitlement but may not see owner-only billing controls. Team plan cards may include shared workspace features, centralized billing and user management, team analytics or usage visibility, SSO integration, and priority support. Availability and setup can depend on the plan and account. If you own a team, switch to that team workspace before changing its plan. A team workspace with an inactive plan is labeled Plan inactive — read-only until access is restored.

Changing plans

Plan changes can affect:
  • Available monthly usage.
  • Renewal or reset timing.
  • Team member usage.
  • Access to plan-specific features.
Some changes apply immediately. Others may be scheduled for the next billing period.
Check API usage budget before heavy research or media generation so you know how much room remains in the current period.
