Library and sharing

The Library helps you find work you have already created in Babbily. It can include saved chats, translations, Canvas artifacts, images, videos, and other media.

Find saved work

Open Library to browse and search saved items in the active workspace. Switch between Personal and a team workspace before opening Library when you need to find work saved somewhere else. You can filter by content type and use item actions to reopen, rename, share, download, or delete supported items. The content filters are Threads, Images, Audio, Videos, Translations, and Files & Artifacts. Use the sort control for Recent activity, Oldest first, Name A–Z, or Name Z–A. On smaller screens, some controls use icons; open the item’s actions to see available options. Thread cards in Library offer Rename, Share, and Delete. To add a thread to a project, move it, or remove it from one, use the thread’s menu in the sidebar or the chat title at the top of an open chat. See organizing existing threads. Scheduled Task results open from Scheduled > Recent runs, rather than the normal Library thread list.

Find Canvas artifacts

Canvas artifacts are saved pieces of generated work, such as drafts, tables, code, image briefs, and structured outputs. Open an artifact from Library to review it, continue editing, download supported formats, or send it to a connected app when actions are available.

Share inside a team workspace

When you author a supported chat or saved media item in a team workspace, its share controls can let you choose:

• A specific teammate.
• Everyone in the team.

Recipients find the item under Shared with you in the matching team workspace’s Library. Shared team chats are read-only, so recipients can review the conversation but cannot reply in the original thread. Team sharing is membership-gated. If someone leaves the team, their access to direct and team-wide shares ends.

Share a chat with a public link

When sharing is available for a chat, open the chat and select Share at the top right. On a phone, Share appears as an icon. You can also choose Share on the chat’s card in Library > Threads. Babbily creates a public share view that others can open with the share link. Share isn’t in the thread actions menu that opens from the sidebar or the chat title. That menu holds Rename, Add to project or Move to project, Remove from project, and Delete. Temporary Chats are not shareable. Use a regular chat if you need to create a share link. Shared chats are useful for:

• Sending a research summary to a teammate.
• Sharing a generated answer without inviting someone into your account.
• Showing a public version of a conversation.

What shared viewers can see

People with the link can see the messages plus any attachments, generated media, citations, or other content included in the shared thread. They do not get access to your account, private settings, plugins, billing, or memory controls. If Babbily asks you to wait before sharing, let the conversation finish its current action and try again. A shared thread does not support past-chat lookup for subsequent replies.

Public search visibility

The share dialog lets you make a link public or private. When a thread is public, the dialog notes that it can be found in Google Search Results. When you make a link private, Babbily removes the thread from public search visibility where that control applies.

Delete saved items

Deleting an item removes it from your Library. Some deletion actions cannot be undone. Deleting a chat doesn’t remove media you saved from it. Saved images, videos, and audio stay in Library until you delete them. See delete a chat.
